Asuncion, IP Agency.- Authorities from the Ministry of Public Health, the Social Security Institute and the municipality of Itakyry, Alto Paraná department, visited health facilities dependent on health institutions, in order to define actions on the integration of health services that will be offered at an inter-institutional level.
The strategy of integration of services is promoted by the National Government in order to reach the most vulnerable populations.
The mayor of the Municipality of Itakyry, Miguel Ángel Soria, participated in the meeting; Dr. Gustavo Vidal Ortiz Torres, general director of Planning and Evaluation, with his technical team; Dr. Noelia Torres, director of the Tenth Health Region, Alto Paraná, as well as Dr. Patricia Giménez, director of Planning of the IPS, and her technical team.
During the integration meeting between the authorities of the MSPYBS, the IPS and the municipal authorities of Itakyry, the bases for the preparation of the Framework Agreement between these institutions were established. This will allow progress towards the next steps related to the execution of the various agreed activities, guaranteeing successful integration between the health entities.
The strategy of integration in the health system is promoted by the National Government and has made significant progress. Based on the success of previous integrations in other regions of the country, health services are being improved with quality and warmth, especially for the most vulnerable population.
