Apple releases public beta of AI-powered iOS 18.1 update

Apple has announced the launch of the public beta version of the iOS 18.1 update, which includes a set of new features based on artificial intelligence, known as “Apple Intelligence.”

This update brings major improvements to apps like Safari, where users can now get smart summaries of articles in Reader mode, as well as advanced features in the Photos app to automatically remove unwanted elements. The update also enables the ability to record phone calls and summarize them in text, which helps to document conversations easily.

Other notable features include an improved Siri that can create movies from memories in the Photos app and provide intelligent assistance with writing and proofreading. The update also brings smart summary notifications for messages and emails, and the ability to automatically clean photos of unwanted content.

It is worth noting that the artificial intelligence features in iOS 18.1 will be available exclusively on the iPhone 15 Pro and Max, along with the iPhone 16 series. Interested users can try these features by registering for Apple’s beta program.
