The Government Media Office in Gaza publishes the latest update on the field situation in the Gaza Strip on the 347th day of the war

The statement issued by the office clarified the latest death toll and injuries in the various governorates of the Gaza Strip as a result of the ongoing Israeli bombing since October 7, 2023, and it was as follows:

North Governorate..

• The Israeli bombing of the “Six Martyrs Junction” targeted a group of citizens in Jabalia Governorate, north of the Gaza Strip, killing 4 people and wounding a number of others.
• An Israeli bombardment of a house belonging to the Al-Zaanin family in Beit Hanoun resulted in one death.

Gaza Governorate..

• 8 people were killed, including 5 children and 2 women, as a result of an Israeli bombardment of Ibn al-Haytham School, which houses displaced people in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
• Two people were killed as a result of an Israeli bombardment of a house belonging to the Hajjaj family on Kashko Street, east of the Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
• The bodies of two people were recovered from a house belonging to the Hassouna family, on Al-Wahda Street in Gaza City, and three people are still missing under the rubble.
• Heavy Israeli artillery shelling of various areas north of Street 8, specifically the Islamic Complex area.
• The Israeli forces have been preventing the entry of cooking gas since the beginning of the war until this moment, which forces citizens to resort to using alternatives such as nylon, cardboard and cloth, which may lead to a danger to lives and property.

Central Governorate..

• 12 dead people were pulled out from under the rubble of the Abu Shawqa and Tartouri family home in Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.
• 3 dead, including a child, and a number of wounded as a result of Israeli shelling of a house belonging to the “Baroud” family in Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.
• One person was killed and several others were injured as a result of an Israeli bombardment of a house belonging to the “Suwaidan” family in Camp 1 in the Nuseirat camp.

Khan Yunis Governorate..

• 7 dead, including 3 children and a woman, and a number of wounded as a result of Israeli shelling of a house belonging to the “Al-Najjar” family in the Qizan Al-Najjar area, south of Khan Yunis.

Rafah Governorate..

• 5 dead bodies were recovered from the Khirbet Al-Adas area, north of Rafah city.
• Two dead and a number of wounded as a result of an Israeli bombardment on a civilian vehicle in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Rafah city.
• One person was killed as a result of Israeli shelling of a group of citizens in the Musbah area, north of Rafah city.
• Israeli bombing and detonation of residential buildings northwest of Rafah city.

In the same context, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip has risen to 41,272 dead and 95,551 wounded since October 7.
