Giselle Pelico attacks those who consider her an “accomplice” of her husband in her rapes

“After arriving in this courtroom, I feel humiliated. They say that I was an alcoholic, that I was reaching such a state of intoxication that I am an accomplice of Mr. Pelikos,” her ex-husband who drugged her and invited strangers to rape her, she told the court. “It’s so humiliating and degrading to hear that!” he added.

“In the situation I was in, I couldn’t answer to anyone. I was in a comatose state and the videos to be shown will confirm that. And the experts were shocked by these videos and they are men,” he explained. “Not for one second did I consent to Mr. Pelikos, or to the men behind him,” continued the 72-year-old woman who suffered nearly 200 rapes – 92 of them by her ex-husband Dominic Pelikos’ 50 co-accused .

“I have the impression that the culprit is me and there are 50 victims behind me” and “because I stripped, am I a show off? I am the guilty one and they are innocent. They should be in my position,” he quipped.

“It is despicable (…) I remind you that I was under the influence of chemicals (drugs). Did the 50 behind me not wonder (about her consent)? What are these men, they are perverts, what are they? Not even for a minute did they raise the question!. There is no such thing as ‘rape and (other) rape’. Rape is rape,” he stressed, referring to the statements of a defense lawyer, Paul-Rosé Godard, who said there is “rape and rape,” downplaying the real intentions of some of the defendants who say they thought they were participating in the romantic fantasy of a couple of liberal morals.

“I explained rape in its legal sense. If my statements hurt or shocked you, I’m sorry. That was not my intention. My intention was to remind the rules of law,” Godard replied.

Peliko Case: Twist – Another accomplice confessed to doing the same – He drugged his wife and raped her together with Dominic

An associate of the Frenchman Dominic Pelico who for nearly a decade drugged his wife and invited dozens of men to rape her, admitted to abusing his own wife on Wednesday, blaming his mentor and a troubled childhood.

Police said Jean-Pierre Marechal, 63, worked with Peliko on drugs so they could both rape Marechal’s wife Celia after meeting on a now-closed website.

The trial of Pelikos and 50 other men accused of raping his wife has shocked the world. It has also sparked protests across France in support of Gisele Pélicot who has become a symbol of the fight against sexual violence.

In court on Tuesday, Peliko admitted to orchestrating the gang rape of his now ex-wife. He apologized and said he eventually hoped to win back his ex-partner, who filed for divorce after learning of the rapes from investigators.

Wednesday began with more disturbing testimony, as Marechal described how he and his sisters were sexually abused at the hands of his father.

He said it was Pelikos who unlocked his inner demon.

“I am sorry for my actions. I love my wife,” Marechal said in the courtroom. “If I had not met Mr. Pellicott, I would never have done this deed. He was reassuring, like a cousin.”

Prosecutors allege Marechal met Peliko on a website called Coco, where Peliko shared with him images of his wife being raped by men he had recruited, describing how he had drugged her.

Marechal told the courtroom he stumbled on the site by accident and initially refused Pelico’s request to rape his wife before consenting. Prosecutors say Pelico drugged Marechal’s wife and raped her while Marechal watched.

Peliko pleaded guilty to raping Marechal’s wife and said he regretted his actions, adding that he broke off contact with them after she woke up while he was in her room. Prosecutors say Peliko was recorded in at least three of the 12 attacks on his wife Celia.

The 54-year-old has five children with Marechal and has stuck by his side without suing.

Instead, Giselle Pelico, 72, insisted on a public trial in a bid to expose her ex-husband and the 50 men he is accused of recruiting to rape her.

Peliko pleaded guilty to raping Marechal’s wife and stated that he regretted his actions. He broke off relations with the Maresals when the victim woke up while he was still in the bedroom. According to the indictment, Peliko has been recorded in at least three of the 12 rapes of Celia Maresal.

54-year-old Celia Maresal has 5 children with her husband, whom she has not sued. She states that she is staying with him “for the sake of the children”.
