Asuncion, IP Agency.- Bloomberg Linea has launched the fourth edition of its prestigious list “The 500 Most Influential in Latin America and the Caribbean,” highlighting the people who are transforming realities both in the region and globally. On this occasion, the president of the Development Finance Agency (AFD), Stella Guillén, appears as one of the three figures from Paraguay, being the only one from the public sector.
The list celebrates Latin American leaders who, through their work, have impacted key sectors such as artificial intelligence, technological innovation, mass consumption and natural resource management. Guillén has been recognized for her fundamental role in Paraguay’s financial sector, leading projects that promote sustainable economic development and the strengthening of investments in the country.
“This recognition is a source of great pride, and even more so because it makes visible the work of the AFD, an institution that constantly seeks to be that bridge between people and the achievement of their objectives. It is also a recognition of the highly committed human team that strives every day to fulfill our mission of contributing to the sustainable development of Paraguay. With nearly 150 new names, this edition demonstrates the evolution of Latin America in business, culture, art and technology, consolidating the region as a strategic player at a global level.

The methodology for selecting the 500 Most Influential includes a rigorous analysis by Bloomberg’s editorial team, considering criteria such as job creation, investments that have generated a significant impact, and influence in various sectors. This year, priority has also been given to a greater representation of female leaders.
