Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Ministry of Health guaranteed the acquisition of ultra-rapid insulin for a value of more than G. 1.380 million. In this context, it received a batch of 2,500 pens at the Sanitario Park, located in Mariano Roque Alonso, as part of the first delivery.
In order to guarantee the availability of ultra-rapid insulin, the health portfolio invested G. 1,386,810,000 in the acquisition of the drug.
The insulin was acquired under CVE No. 10/2024 “Acquisition of Ultra-Rapid Insulin-Mspbys” ID No. 454,385 to obtain coverage of approximately three to four months.
The purchase was made taking into account that ultra-rapid insulin was declared void in the previous call approximately two months ago.
On Wednesday afternoon, 2,500 pens were received at the Mariano Roque Alonso Health Park, a shipment sent by one of the three companies awarded the contract. It is expected that another of the awarded companies will make another delivery on Thursday, completing approximately 6,000 units in the first batch.
