HEAD of the Presidential Communications Office Hasan Nasbi responded to the PSI General Chair Kaesang Pangarep using a private jet to the United States.
He said that Kaesang wanted to board a commercial economy class plane after attending the Proclamation commemoration ceremony at the IKN on August 17.
“Mas Kaesang flew to Jakarta from there (IKN) flying to Jakarta because on the 18th (August) he wanted to go to America, he wanted to take a ride on a friend’s plane to America, so Mas Kaesang took an economy class plane,” he said, Wednesday (15/9).
Hasan said that in the economy class plane that Kaesang was on, there was a business class occupied by ministers. One of them was Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan, President Director of LPP TVRI Iman Brotoseno, and a number of heads of state institutions.
If he had a luxurious lifestyle, he believes that President Joko Widodo’s youngest son would not use commercial aircraft and sit in economy class.
Kaesang, said Hasan, could ask someone to pick him up using a private jet from the IKN to Jakarta, before flying to the United States on August 18, 2024.

While traveling to the United States, Kaesang boarded a private jet owned by his friend. Kaesang had stopped in several cities because he followed the schedule of Kaesang’s friend who owned the jet.
“This means that it’s not this friend who adjusts Kaesang’s schedule, but Kaesang adjusts this friend’s schedule,” Hasan explained.
Kaesang Pangarep and Erina Gudono, have received a lot of attention on social media. One of the reasons is related to the use of a private jet when traveling to the United States.
The alleged gratification was widely discussed by netizens, such as on social media X, after Erina Gudono uploaded a view from inside a private jet via Instagram.
