AADE invites businesses to immediately schedule an appointment with their partner who manufactures or technically supports the commercial/accounting management program (ERP) they use to interface their POS with the ERP, which works with their Electronic Tax Mechanism (ETM). or the Electronic Billing Provider.
It is recalled that according to the legislation already in force:
1) There is an obligation to interface their cash systems with POS devices for the conduct of retail transactions of businesses:
* who have an obligation to use the Tax Electronic Mechanism (EFT) or make use of them,
* who have an obligation to use FIM, but have chosen to carry out the specific transactions using the Services of an Electronic Data Issuance Provider.
2) A business that conducts retail transactions for which the use of a TIN is not mandatory according to the legislation (POL. 1002/2014) and does not use a TIN does not have the relevant interconnection obligation for the specific transactions. On the contrary, in the event that there is a FIM obligation for the retail transactions it carries out, the company has an obligation to interconnect all the POS terminals it has with the FIM(s) it uses.
3) A business that conducts exclusively wholesale transactions does NOT have the obligation to connect the POS terminals it has with its cash system.
