Karachi

Strict security arrangements have been made in Karachi on 12 Rabi Awal.

To ensure security in the Sindh province, the Sindh government has announced a ban on double riding across the province.

Two main processions will be taken out in Karachi, the first from Tower to Aram Bagh and the second from New Memon Mosque in Bolton Market to Nishtar Park in which thousands of people are expected to participate.

The procession of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi ﷺ will leave Memon Masjid at 2:00 p.m. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and other ministers will also participate in the procession.

The procession will pass through its designated routes and end at Nishtar Park.

On this occasion, a total of 4,716 personnel will be deployed in Karachi, including 15 Senior Superintendents of Police, 27 Deputy SSPs, 648 NGOs and 3,735 constables, 51 female personnel, 31 police mobiles and 40 on motorcycles. Police officers are involved.

Lahore

In Lahore, traffic arrangements have been made for the processions, celebrations of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi ﷺ and the traffic police has issued the route for today.

10 DSPs under the supervision of three Divisional SPs will perform security duties in Lahore today. While 310 inspectors, more than 1400 wardens and patrolling officers have been appointed.

The biggest procession in Lahore will leave from Noori Building Railway Station and reach Data Darbar. The procession from Delhi Gate will also reach Data Darbar, while the processions from Islampura Last Mosque and Shelar Chowk Baghbanpura will also reach Data Sahib.

All these processions will be taken out from Data Sahib in the form of a large procession and will end by reaching Masjid Rehmatul Alameen battery stop.

Meanwhile, the traffic coming from the railway station to Linde will be diverted to the railway road. The traffic coming from Outer Circular Road will be diverted through One Maurya Bridge, Azadi Flyover and the traffic coming from Multan Road will be diverted through Outfall Road from Kachhari Chowk.

Rawalpindi

Preparations have been made for the main procession of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi ﷺ in Rawalpindi as well. More than 500 Milad committees will participate in the main procession. The main Milad procession will be inaugurated by Hafiz Naqibur Rahman, the Sajjada Nasheen of Eid Gah Sharif.

On Eid Milad-ul-Nabi, 5000 police personnel and officers will be on duty. 450 officials have been deployed to maintain the flow of traffic. CCTV cameras have also been installed to monitor the main procession.

The main procession will start from the main Jama Masjid Raja Bazaar. The roads leading to the route of the procession have been sealed. The procession will end at the main Jamia Masjid late at night.

The procession will reach Murree Road through Jama Masjid Road, Bani Chowk, Circular Road. It will pass through Murree Road, Committee Chowk, Iqbal Road, Trunk Bazar, Fawara Chowk and will end on reaching Jama Masjid.
