PIA spokesperson Abdullah Hafeez told Independent Urdu that the flight had taken off from Dubai on September 15 and instead of Peshawar, the flight was diverted to Karachi.

Abdullah said: ‘The plane was landed at Karachi airport due to a snag (technical fault) as PIA’s main engineering hub or hangar is at Karachi airport.’

What kind of technical fault did the plane have?

In this regard, Abdullah Hafeez said that the aircraft has various types of hydraulic systems, one of which was showing low fluid pressure.
