Several areas of Zulia state were affected by the heavy rains that occurred in the state since the night of September 16.
The parishes where flooding was observed were: La Victoria and Rafael Urdaneta, in addition to the central area of the town of Bachaquero in the municipality of Valmore Rodríguez.
According to photos and videos posted by users on social media, some houses and avenues can be seen flooded due to the accumulation of water after the rains.
Journalist Jhorman Cruz reported that residential fields dependent on the company Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) were also affected by the floods, as was the Type I Hospital Dr. Dario Suárez Ocando.
Inameh forecast for September 17
The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) has forecast rainfall with electrical discharges and possible gusts of wind in several states of the country for September 17.

Floods in Greater Caracas
On September 16, users on social media reported Flooding in several areas of Greater Caracasas a result of heavy rains.
Some of the affected areas were Caricuao, near La Paz, Antímano, Carapita, Bolívar Street in Propatria and the Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro highway.
On the same highway, near La Yaguara, the fall of one of the perimeter walls was reported.
