Botanical Marvels Shine Bright in Anjou During European Heritage Days

For this 2024 vintage of the JEP, it is the plant, emblematic identity of the territory, which is in the spotlight. For the occasion, the Department invites you in particular to immerse yourself in the gardens of the former Saint-Aubin Abbey, which now houses the Departmental Hotel and the Prefecture.
This green setting will complement the range of other places usually open and popular during this event: the Hôtel du Département, the Châteaux of Montsoreau and Plessis-Macé, the Collegiate Church of Saint-Martin and even the Departmental Archives and the Departmental Heritage Conservation.
These visits will highlight the richness, history and diversity of our department, embodied by the people who bring it to life on a daily basis. This unmissable cultural event of the start of the school year is also an opportunity to better publicize their missions and professions.
