Asunción, IP Agency.- In an extraordinary session, the Interinstitutional Roundtable for the Prevention of Violence against Women (Previm) addressed the latest case of femicide, seeking to identify the failures in the prevention, response, protection and justice mechanisms, in order to implement corrective measures.

The virtual session was chaired by the Minister of Women, Cynthia Figueredo, and sought to coordinate actions and follow up on the reports of the participating institutions.

Regarding the recent case of femicide, the Ministry of Women requested a comprehensive report from the various institutions involved, which will be evaluated on September 23.
