- Elvis surprises cancer-stricken fan
- New episodes of “Hartz and herzlich – Day by day Benz-Baracken” – Monday to Friday (16 – 20 September) at 18:05 on RTLZWEI
35-year-old Petra finally wants to get back into the working world. Since the upcoming training to become a nursing assistant will require a lot of time and energy, Petra has decided with a heavy heart to no longer be part of the show and to leave “Hartz und herzlich”.
Elvis can’t get over an encounter with a fan. 38-year-old Marco from Fulda, 180 kilometers from Mannheim, has cancer. One of his last wishes is to meet the 51-year-old barracks resident. Elvis would like to do more for Marco and is therefore planning a surprise. Caretaker Michael is also known for his helpfulness. But the 55-year-old also wants to do good outside the barracks and is helping his friend Chris in his travel agency with the “Christmas in a Shoebox” campaign.
Janine, a trained make-up artist, had been working as an integration assistant for six months. The 28-year-old was passionate about her work and spent 30 hours a week looking after sick children in schools and kindergartens. Now she was fired shortly before the end of her probationary period. This was completely unexpected for the mother of twins. But Janine is not giving up and is hoping for a new job in a different area so that she can be independent of the office again.
Petra and Selina are very disappointed. On the advice of the school at the time, Selina was supposed to have a legal guardian at the age of 18 because of her mental disability. However, due to Petra’s debts, she is not allowed to become her daughter’s legal guardian. In addition, Petra does not receive a loan from the job center to pay off her rent debts of over 2,000 euros, which minimizes the chance of getting a larger, affordable apartment. Petra now hopes to pay off the debts in installments directly to the housing association.
The show is produced by UFA-Show & Factual. The new episodes are produced according to the ecological standards for German cinema, TV and online/VOD productions of the “Green Shooting” working group.
New episodes of “Hartz and herzlich – Day by Day Benz-Baracken” – Monday to Friday at 6:05 p.m. on RTLZWEI. The episodes are available free of charge on RTL+ for 7 days after broadcast – and then in the PREMIUM area.
