Miami, Sep 11 (EFE).- Thalía, Yandel and Eden Muñoz will be part of the lineup of artists participating in Billboard Music Week, which will be held from October 14 to 18 in Miami Beach, South Florida (USA).
According to the organization, the Mexican will return to this event to be part of a panel on “mental health and stardom” in which Argentine María Becerra will also speak.
His compatriot Edén Muñoz, for his part, will join a panel that will try to answer one of the biggest questions facing the current music industry: “Why are there 50 writers on my song?”
Under that title, Muñoz, composer Keityn and producer Sergio George will provide “an insider’s perspective on how much a hit song is worth and who gets credit as a composer,” according to a statement released today.
Puerto Rican and iconic urban music artist Yandel will lead a panel presented by the record label Warner Music that will address “the beginning and the future of the genre,” according to the note.
“These artists and their careers embody the energy, diversity and impact of today’s Latin music,” said Leila Cobo, Billboard’s director of content for Latin America and Spanish.
Billboard Latin Music Week, which will celebrate its 35th anniversary this year, will take place at the Jackie Gleason Theater at The Fillmore Miami Beach, and will feature talks, panels, workshops and special performances.
“We look forward to hosting meaningful conversations and unforgettable experiences that will resonate with fans and industry professionals alike,” Cobo added.
The organization previously announced the participation of dozens of artists, including Alejandro Sanz, Bad Gyal, Belinda, Danny Ocean, Eslabón Armado, Gloria Estefan, J Balvin, Lele Pons, María Becerra, Mau y Ricky, Mon Laferte, Paola Jara, and Peso Pluma.
It is a celebration of Latin music, culture and entertainment, which takes place within the framework of the 2024 Billboard Latin Music Awards ceremony, which will be broadcast on the Spanish-language network Telemundo. EFE
