During the tour, two existing structures were inspected: an arch bridge and a wooden one, for later replacement. The new walkways would be approximately 30 linear meters each to benefit about 100 families directly and the entire municipality indirectly, the Ministry of Works reported.
Núñez stressed the importance of the initiative: “It is a local road that links two communities and is widely used by the local population to reach educational institutions and transport produce.”
