On Monday, September 9, the 2024 All-Hellenic Repetitive Examinations begin.The Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports reminds us of the Program and Examination Centers for the Repeated All-Hellenic GEL Examinations and the Repeated All-Hellenic Examinations for Special and Music Courses GEL and EPAL for the year 2024.
In particular:
A1. SCHEDULE OF REPEATED NATIONAL EXAMINATIONS FOR THE DAYS AND EVENINGS OF THE YEAR 2024
The exam start time is set for all courses at 16.00 pm. Candidates must arrive at the exam rooms at least 30 minutes before the start of the exams.
The examination duration of each course is set at three (3) hours. Candidates from evening high schools, regardless of the category with which they chose to be examined in the exams of the regular examination period, participate in the repeat exams together with candidates from day high schools. They are examined in the same material and subjects as the candidates of the day high schools and claim the same positions as them.
A2. EXAMINATION CENTERS FOR CANDIDATES OF THE REPEATED NATIONAL EXAMINATIONS FOR THE YEAR 2024
1) Examination Centers are designated in Attica and Thessaloniki. In particular, in Attica, the 9th GEL of Athens of the Directorate D.E. is designated as the Examination Center. 1 of Athens (Troon 2, P.K. 11851, Thisio, tel. 210-3464680) and in Thessaloniki, as the Examination Center, the 2nd GEL Neapolis of the Directorate D.E. West Thessaloniki (Str. Strebenioti Area, PO Box 56728, Neapoli Thessaloniki, tel. 2310-607521).
2) The distribution of candidates in the two examination centers is as follows:
i) the candidates who submitted an Application-Declaration of participation in the Repeated Nationwide Examinations in EEDDE of the Regional Directorates of Education of Crete, South Aegean, North Aegean, Peloponnese, Western Greece, Central Greece, Ionia and Attica will be examined in the E.K. of Attica, ii) the candidates who submitted an Application-Declaration of participation in the Repeated Nationwide Examinations in EEDDE of the Regional Directorates of Education of Epirus, Thessaly, Western Macedonia, Central Macedonia and Eastern Macedonia-Thrace will be examined in the E.K. of Thessaloniki.
3) All candidates with disabilities and special educational needs of the 2024 Repeated Hellenic GEL Examinations, for the General Education and Orientation Groups courses, will be examined at the 9th Gymnasium of Ilio of the Directorate D.E. 3rd of Athens (Posidonos 25, P.O. 13122, Ilion, tel. 210-2624466).
B1. PROGRAM OF REPEATED NATIONAL EXAMINATIONS OF SPECIAL & MUSIC COURSES
YEAR 2024 FOR GEL & EPAL Candidates must arrive at the exam rooms at least 30 minutes before the start of the exams.
The examination duration for the courses:
– of foreign languages is three (3) hours,
– of Drawings (Free and Linear) is six (6) hours,
– for the music course “Music Perception, Theory and Harmony” the exam lasts three (3) hours and thirty (30) minutes.
– for the music course “Music Performance and Interpretation”, the examination of vocal or instrumental music lasts 4′ to 6′ minutes for each candidate.
B2. EXAMINATION CENTERS FOR SPECIAL COURSES FOR CANDIDATES OF THE REPEATED NATIONAL EXAMINATIONS
GEL & EPAL YEAR 2024
1) Examination Centers for Special Courses are designated in Attica and Thessaloniki. In particular, in Attica, the 9th GEL of Athens of the Directorate D.E. is designated as the Examination Center for Special Courses. A’ of Athens (Troon 2, P.K. 11851, Thisio, tel. 210-3464680) and in Thessaloniki, as the Examination Center for Special Courses, the 2nd GEL Neapolis of the Directorate D.E. West Thessaloniki (Str. 3) All candidates with disabilities and special educational needs of the 2024 Repeated All-Hellenic Examinations GEL and EPAL, for Special courses other than music courses, will be examined at the 50th Gymnasium of Athens of the Directorate D.E. A’ of Athens (74-76 Hatziaapostolou and Dordou, P.K. 10443, Athens, tel. 210-5136686).
B3. EXAMINATION CENTERS FOR THE MUSIC COURSES “MUSIC PERFORMANCE AND INTERPRETATION” AND “MUSIC PERCEPTION, THEORY AND HARMONY” FOR THE CANDIDATES OF THE 2024 NATIONAL REPEAT EXAMS GEL & EPAL
1) Exam center for the music course “Music Performance and Interpretation” is defined in Attica, the Pallini Music High School of the Directorate D.E. Rev. Attica (Mariza-Pallini Place, P.O. 15351 Pallini tel. 210-6668547 and 210-6668794), in which all GEL and EPAL candidates will be examined.
2) For the music course “Music Perception, Theory and Harmony”, the exams for all GEL and EPAL candidates, including all candidates with disabilities and special educational needs for GEL and EPAL, will be held in the building of the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports , 37 Andrea Papandreou Street, P.O. 15180 Maroussi.
C. As the deadline for conducting a repeat Health Examination and Practical Test of the GEL & EPAL candidates for admission to the Departments of Physical Education and Sports Science (TEFAA) acad. year 2024-25 we define the period from Friday 13-9-2024 until Friday 20-9-2024. Candidates should come to the relevant Health Examination and Practical Test Committee in order to declare the days of participation in the practical tests.
D. INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES OF SPECIAL COURSES ON THE DESIGNS
1. During the “Line Drawing” examination, candidates are given drawing paper, the external dimensions of which are 50 X 70 cm and the internal dimensions, in which the drawing is made, 50 X 58 cm. For this reason, the a candidate must bring with him to the examination a drawing pad of dimensions similar to the drawing paper and the tools and materials necessary for drawing, i.e. sketch paper (rice paper or other), pencils of different hardness for different thicknesses of lines, instruments for drawing with pencil or Chinese ink, tau or parallelogram, drawing triangles, common subdecameter and the other necessary drawing tools (diabetes, curve, rubber bands, eraser shield, sharpener – bell, etc.). He can also use a magnifying glass. It is forbidden, however, to use drawing systems, i.e. special printing machines for writing and drawing letters, gelatins or metallic elements of standard letters, stickers (raster, letterset, etc.) of letters or line shading and scales (subdecameters in various scales, one: twenty, one: fifty, etc.), protractor, as well as calculating machines (computers).
2. During the “Free Drawing” examination, candidates are given drawing paper, the external dimensions of which are 50 X 70 cm and the internal dimensions, on which the drawing is made, 50 X 50 cm. For this reason, the candidate must carry with him to the examination a drawing plate of dimensions similar to the drawing paper. The drawing is done with pencils. The candidate must have with him, in addition to the sign, soft and hard pencils, erasers, erasers. Also, the use of a measuring needle and spirit level is allowed, while the use of drawing instruments and the use of sprays are not allowed.
E. INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES OF THE MUSIC COURSE “MUSIC PERFORMANCE AND INTERPRETATION”
Candidates appearing for examination in the course “Music Performance and Interpretation” should bring with them the musical instruments on which they will be examined, except for the piano and European percussion instruments, which will be present in their examination room.
For the examination of the works of a) “Classical, Western European music”, b) “Jazz and Popular music” genres of music, as well as the works of Byzantine Psalter of the genre “Folk – Traditional Music and Byzantine Psalter”, candidates have the right to use of their own score, a copy of which they must also hand over (via a supervisor) to the examiners.
Candidates should not bring mobile phones with them during their examination. In addition, for the examination of the Monody of Classical, Western European music, the use of piano accompaniment is foreseen, without any previous rehearsal between the candidate and the pianist. For the examination of the vocal art of Jazz and Popular music and Folk-Traditional music and Byzantine Chanting, the use of a piano or diapasto is foreseen for the voice toning.
