On September 3, the first trailer for Pedro Páramo’s new film was released, in which he shows us a bit of the story set in a Mexico of yesterday, but what is the production based on Rulfo’s texts about?
In just 20 seconds of the trailer, we see the protagonist saying that if he sits back, then the town will die of hunger as a result of the harsh place where they live, and then we see the townspeople descend into chaos.
But for those who have already read the book, they know that it is a mix of themes related to death, power and regret at the end of life, mainly due to the decisions and actions of the main character.
