This is provided for in the joint ministerial decision signed by the Ministers of National Economy and Finance, Kostis Hatzidakis, and Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou, and the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Thanos Petralias.
The process
Applications for the acquisition of occupied lands, as well as all related procedures and communication of the applicants with the competent services, will be carried out exclusively through the new digital platform “Applications for the Acquisition of Public Properties”.
Applicants will be logged in with ΤaxisNet codes, while the option to submit the redemption request will also be provided by an authorized person, who must fill in their VAT number in the system and attach a responsible statement of authorization from gov.gr or with a certified true signature .
Access to the Integrated Information System is through gov.gr at the electronic address https://aeda.apps.gov.gr.
Applications for the acquisition of real estate begin:
* September 30, 2024 for the Regional Units of Aetoloakarnania, Arcadia, Evros, Evia, Heraklion, Ioannina, Karditsa, Corfu, Larissa, Lasithi, Lesbos, Magnesia, Xanthi, Pieria, Rethymnon, Samos, Trikala, Fthiotida, Chania, Chios. The possibility of submitting applications for these areas expires on September 30, 2025.
* October 31, 2024 for all other Regional Units. The possibility of submitting applications for the remaining Regional Units expires on 31 October 2025.
Conditions
A basic condition for the right to submit a redemption application is the exercise by the applicant himself or the licensors, of public property, of uninterrupted possession:
* for at least 30 years with title,
* for at least 40 years without a title, as long as the applicant uses the property as his main residence or as an accessory to it or to carry out tourist, craft, industrial, commercial or agricultural activity,
* the declaration of the property on the “E9” form for at least the 5 years preceding the application, in order to make it clear that the applicants considered the property to be theirs.
Terms
It is recalled that with the passing of Law 5113/2024 it is also provided that:
* Application can also be submitted for properties that do not have a building.
* A ten-day deadline is set for informing the applicant, in case supporting documents are missing. The requirement to submit aerial photographs no longer applies.
* The possibility of the State to decide an exception from the right of redemption for reasons of public interest is extended.
* The deadline for submitting the consent of the State Real Estate Company is accelerated to 2 months from 3 months, which was initially foreseen.
Discounts up to 80% in the cost
The purchase price will be calculated based on the objective values of the properties and social criteria (for vulnerable groups, large families, people with disabilities). In addition, the purchase price in special cases of disputing the ownership of the public property is formed with a discount:
* 50% for an applicant who has been recognized by a court of first instance as the owner of the property or who has been listed as the owner in the first cadastral records and a lawsuit has been filed by the State or the deadline for filing a lawsuit has not expired.
* 70% if the applicant has filed an appeal against a court decision to recognize ownership of the property by 31.12.2022.
* A special provision exists for property that meets the housing needs of the applicant or the original licensor as a result of mass settlement of population groups before 1964. In this case the price corresponds to 20% of the objective value of the property.

The provided code snippet appears to be part of a JavaScript file used for managing advertisements and other integrations on a website, likely associated with a news or publisher platform. I will provide a breakdown of key components within this code:
Overview
Table of Contents
- Google Tag Manager (GPT): The code initializes the Google Publisher Tag (GPT) for ad placements, defining ad slots and targeting parameters.
- AdSense Handling: It includes logic to manage Google AdSense ads based on whether the user is accessing from a mobile or desktop device.
- Integration with Third-Party Services: The code outlines deferred loading for services such as OneSignal, Disqus, and various advertising networks, along with checks for existing script tags.
- Future Asynchronous Script Loading: There’s commented-out pseudo-code for additional ads and tracking which would be triggered under certain conditions.
Key Sections
- Ad Slot Definitions:
- Ad slots are defined using googletag.defineSlot()
, specifying the ad unit path and dimensions.
– Targeting parameters like pageType
, category
, and article_id
are set to help in targeting relevant ads.
- Ad Display Logic:
- The function displaySlot()
is used to render specific ad slots conditionally, based on the context (e.g., mobile vs. desktop).
– The code includes logic to collapse empty ad slots and manage requests to the ad server.
- AdSense Management:
– The code removes outdated ad elements based on whether the user is on mobile or desktop to improve performance.
- OneSignal Initialization:
- The OneSignal service is initialized conditionally to manage web push notifications for the site.
- Disqus Configuration:
- Disqus is configured for comment management, with a unique identifier for each article.
- Asynchronous Script Loading:
- Functions like asyncLoadScript()
and asyncLoadModule()
suggest the intent to load scripts dynamically to prevent blocking page load or to conditionally load features.
- Commented Code and Placeholders:
– Several sections of code are commented out, indicating potential features or services that may be added in the future.
Suggested Improvements
- Organize and Consolidate Targeting Logic: All targeting identifiers could be centralized for better maintenance and readability.
- Error Handling: Consider adding error handling for asynchronous operations to improve user experience.
- Version Control: Track versions of loaded scripts or apply checks to prevent duplicate loads.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement analytics to measure how well different ad placements perform over time.
Conclusion
This code snippet is crucial for ad management on the associated website. It incorporates Google Ad Manager, Google AdSense, and various other third-party integrations to optimize advertisement handling and performance. By ensuring efficient loading and targeting strategies, it aims to enhance user experience while maximizing ad revenue opportunities.
