airBaltic Expands Flight Routes from Riga and Tallinn
airBaltic is set to enhance connectivity in the Baltic region by launching a total of 16 new routes from Riga and Tallinn, catering to the growing demand for air travel.
The airline has established itself as a key player in connecting Lithuania with the rest of the Baltic countries. With the introduction of seven new destinations this season from Vilnius, airBaltic continues to solidify its position as the leading airline in Lithuania and the Baltic States.
“To accommodate increasing demand on existing routes, we are excited to increase the frequency of flights on four direct routes from Vilnius, providing our customers with more travel opportunities,” said Martinas Gaussas, President and CEO of airBaltic.
“We appreciate the support from our local and international partners over the years, and we look forward to continuing our successful collaborations,” added M. Gauss.
The airline’s strategic decision to enhance its operations at Lithuanian airports includes not only new routes but also improved service quality, with additional flight frequencies and better passenger comfort. Notably, daily flights are set to commence to Munich, Paris Charles de Gaulle, and Tallinn.
Simon Bartkus, manager of Lithuanian airports, remarked, “We anticipate that airBaltic will emerge as the second airline in terms of passenger numbers served at Lithuanian airports next year, marking a significant milestone for both the airline and the regional air travel network.”
Following an analysis of passenger demand, airBaltic is also planning to increase flight frequencies on four key routes from Vilnius: Malaga, Paris, Munich, and Tallinn.
Additionally, new direct flights will be launched from Riga to Cluj-Napoca in Romania, Mykonos in Greece, Rzeszów in Poland, and Stavanger in Norway. The flight schedules for these new routes will be coordinated with existing airBaltic flights between Riga, Vilnius, and Palanga, ensuring smooth travel connections.

From Riga and Tallinn,” said a spokesperson for airBaltic. “These new routes and increased frequencies will provide our passengers with even more options for travel within the region and beyond.”
The new routes include popular destinations such as Helsinki, Stockholm, and Berlin, with flights starting as soon as next month. This expansion comes as part of airBaltic’s strategy to offer more direct connections and enhance passenger convenience.
In addition to the new destinations, airBaltic has also committed to maintaining high safety standards and operational efficiency. The airline has invested in modernizing its fleet and improving customer service, ensuring a pleasant travel experience for all passengers.
As travel continues to rebound post-pandemic, airBaltic aims to meet the rising demand by enhancing its network and providing reliable, efficient service across the Baltic region. The airline encourages travelers to explore these new opportunities and make the most of their journeys.
