FANS have joked that Manchester United’s coaching staff have resorted to using £86million flop Antony as a training ‘cone’.
The struggling winger has failed to live up to his high price tag on the pitch since arriving from Ajax in 2022.

Since arriving from the Dutch giants, Antony has scored just five goals in 55 Premier League appearances for United.
And a clip of him making a rainbow flag with Amad Diallo during training has led fans to believe manager Erik ten Hag is now simply using him as a training tool.
The video shows Diallo deflecting the ball over Antony’s head, while the Brazilian is completely immobile on the edge of the area.
Of course, Antony isn’t used as a cone, but that hasn’t stopped fans from teasing the star online.
One wrote: “Antony is so bad we now use him as a cone during training.”
While another added: “We are using Antony as a cone, I’m dead.”
A third was furious: “Most expensive cone ever.”
And a fourth joked: “It’s his best position yet.”

United fans’ harsh criticism of Antony comes after he failed to make any significant impact on the club during his time at the Theatre of Dreams.
Erik ten Hag also seems to have lost patience with the winger, making him play alone ONE MINUTE so far this season.

Although the Dutchman, who also coached Antony at Ajax, may have to give the out-of-favour star another chance.
It looks like things need a shake-up on the pitch for United, as the Red Devils have lost two of their first three Premier League games this season.
And Sunday’s 3-0 home defeat to Liverpool showed that there is still work to be done to get Ten Hag’s side back on track.
