Almost a month after the fleeting return of former president Carles Puigdemont, there are still many unknowns to be resolved about how he managed to get to Barcelona and how he fled again. However, the secretary general of Junts, Jordi Turull, has decided to reveal this Monday some more details about his journey. As the post-convergent leader explained in an interview on Rac-1, Puigdemont was in three different flats in the Catalan capital throughout the day and it was not until eight in the evening, once Salvador Illa had already been invested as president of the Generalitat and the Mossos d’Esquadra had lifted the second ‘cage operation’, that he began the journey to Belgium.
