Grillini against Conti, chaos in 5 stars. And here comes Marrazzo with the gay party –

Edward Sirignano

Chaos reigns in the 5 Star universe. While waiting for October 19 and 20, the date on which the long-awaited Assembly will take place, the clash between Giuseppe Conte and Beppe Grillo continues. For the historical activists, the Constituent Assembly, wanted by the former prime minister, would only serve to change the symbol and archive the much-discussed rule of the two mandates. Obviously, the supporters of the former prime minister do not think the same way, who instead consider this moment of confrontation as an opportunity to relaunch a force, which needs a sudden jolt. A difference in positions that, however, does not scare the group leader in the Senate of the M5S Stefano Patuanelli, who points out that “Grillo’s opinion counts for little, unlike that of the community”. In the territories, meanwhile, there is open war between the various Five Star souls, starting from Bari. In the capital of Puglia, for example, there is more than a simple split between those who intend to continue supporting the Leccese administration, such as vice president Mario Turco, who would even like to replicate this model in the next regional elections, and those who, on the contrary, would like to torpedo it immediately because they agree with little or nothing. Even in Liguria, unity remains a mirage. Discontent is growing, for example, among those who do not want to withdraw the candidacy of Senator Pirondini to leave the field free for former minister Orlando. Then there is that free hitter, former president of the Antimafia Nicola Morra, whose electoral campaign seems to be more oriented to criticizing the current leadership of the yellows than to defeating the outgoing center-right, led by Cavo.

Speaking of rebels from the beginning, after the former ministers Toninelli, Lezzi, the revived Raggi, the discontented Castellone, now also the former Minister of Defense Trenta embraces the cause of the Elevato who brought her to Palazzo Chigi. In the ranks of the big names faithful to the founder, there is someone who would like to take revenge against that professor, who ousted men and women of the origins to make room for the never accepted civil society. Reason why Conte cannot remain idle and must enlist any available soldier, even that LGBT movement, left out of the last European elections. The Gay party, as explained in a note, “is ready to merge with the 5 Stars”. According to the movement’s spokesperson Fabrizio Marrazzo, the proposal for a network is convincing and not a little the force that, already in the last regional elections in Sardinia, had openly supported the governor Todde: “The goal – he explains – is to bring together all the people who care about LGBT + rights and want to collaborate with the new M5S, which will emerge from the constituent”. A contribution, which according to pollsters, could bring more than 2 points to Conte and company. At the moment, however, the urgency for the former prime minister is to understand how to reconcile the various proposals, which are emerging in the first phase of the constituent. Among the activists, for example, there are those who ask for an anthem, those for a TV and those who would even like to reward the activists who take to the streets the most. The question, therefore, remains only one: will the teacher be able to bring order to a disorder that, at this point, goes beyond the usual divisions.
