The hit of the fifth round of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga between SK Rapid and FC Red Bull Salzburg (match report>>>) brought many goals, but unfortunately also some injuries.
SCR coach Robert Klauß alone had to substitute three players due to injury. Guido Burgstaller was injured during the first half, the veteran “had a muscle injury”.
Dion Beljo, who was substituted for Burgstaller, had to leave the field at the start of the second half. “He twisted his ankle and had problems with his ankle,” said Klauß. And Isak Jansson, who scored twice, also indicated shortly before the end that he could not continue. “It’s probably something minor, something muscular,” the German estimates.
In principle, he assumes that all three players will be available again at the latest after the end of the international break that is now beginning, but first wants to wait for the examinations.
It could take much longer for Maurits Kjaergaard. The Salzburg player injured his Achilles tendon with a wrong step, had to leave the pitch supported and was eventually even carried to the dressing room.
He is to be examined more closely in Salzburg in the coming days, but no concrete information can be given yet.
