The 25-year-old TFSE athlete was fourth in this number three years ago, at the Tokyo Paralympics.

“Unfortunately, it didn’t go so well for me. You have to look back on how it was, but it’s usually weaker for me,” he told M4 Sport after his race, adding that he managed to go with Sophie Hahn. She was surprised that she succeeded, but also that the Australian Rhiannon Clarke kept pace with them on the other side of her, and was even a little ahead, which perhaps threw her out of her rhythm a little in the last thirty or forty meters.

The Hungarian para-athlete, who was born with stiff joints, finished fourth in the Saturday morning preliminary race with 1:30.73 minutes, and reached the evening finale with the seventh overall time. The stands in the Paris La Défense Arena were full for the evening program. In the final of the distance, the Hungarian swimmer fought for the seventh place, and in the end, the Serbian Katarina Draganov-Cordas was able to slightly overtake her.

Zsanett Adámi-Rózsa was seventh in the 100 m backstroke on Thursday, and in this distance she finished sixth in Rio de Janeiro and seventh in Tokyo.
