At Dei Marmi, the turnstiles are being worked on – La Nazione

And the goal of the turnstiles at the Stadio dei Marmi has also been solved. In recent days, the resolution signed by the public works sector, which entrusts the company ‘Saima sicurezza’ of Arezzo with the supply and installation of the turnstiles in the sports facility for a total of 80 thousand euros. Saima is a company specialized in this sector with over 50 thousand systems installed all over the world in credit institutions, ministries, prisons, industries, football stadiums and entities at risk. The company has taken care of, among other systems, that of the ‘New Wembley Stadium’ in London, the design and installation of the ‘exit line’ corridors of the JFK airport in New York and the installation of the ‘Pass 107 light’ of the Matera station, just to give a few examples. The laying of the new synthetic turf is in the final stages, which is being handled by Sofisport of Pisa, which won the contract for 425,880.45 euros. The work for the software and devices for managing access to the gates has also been entrusted to ‘Errepi Distribuzioni’ of Grosseto, a company specializing in the information technology sector, for a total amount of 39,444.70 euros. In the meantime, the investment in the Stadio dei Marmi by the municipal administration is well over a million euros, while the procedures for adapting to the requirements requested by the Serie A league are at an advanced stage. In recent weeks, the commission to assign the work for the new lighting system was also appointed, which has already identified the company, among the six companies that had presented themselves, and now the checks are underway. The technical service for safety coordination in the design phase (31,000 euros) and execution of the work has also been entrusted to the architect Massimiliano Puntelli of Carrara. And in the next few days, work will be done on the rest of the requirements: the demolition of the existing ticket offices near the entrances to the various sectors, the simultaneous widening of the current gates in order to install turnstiles for access control, the construction of a foundation slab to anchor a new steel staircase to reach the emergency exit in the Curva Nord sector, the recovery of the rooms under the grandstand to be used as a VAR (video assistant referee) room and press room, the moving back of the existing benches to improve visibility and the new toilets in the two Curves. All works that the municipal administration intends, as reiterated several times, to complete by the end of September so as to allow Carrarase to play at home to the joy of all the fans.
