The European Football Association “UEFA” decided to conduct the Champions League draw for the new season by computer, instead of using former stars who draw a large number of balls.
The European Union justified resorting to the electronic draw to avoid using nearly 1,000 balls in the draw, which would make its activities very boring.
This year’s Champions League will see a new system starting with the group stage, in which 36 teams will participate instead of 32 teams.
