Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman says that there is a shutter-down strike across the country, the next call will be given in the next few days, if all roads are closed, the government removal movement can start.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman while talking to the media said that this is not only a strike of Jamaat-e-Islami but of the whole of Pakistan, the people cannot bear the burden of the big vehicles of the rulers.
Hafiz Naeem said that landlords should be taxed, traders are ready to pay taxes, but they do not approve of determining taxes on the basis of markets.
Hafiz Naeem said that if the government is not ready to give relief, the movement to send them home will start, now people are fed up and want a solution to their problems.
On the other hand, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Munim Zafar said that today the whole of Pakistan is participating in the strike, we are fighting the cause of the people, we will die only by reducing the electricity bills.
It should be noted that a nationwide strike was conducted against the high electricity bills and taxes.
Business centers from Karachi to Khyber are closed, the bazaars of Karachi are closed, shops and all big markets are completely closed.
Due to the strike, transport is less than usual and petrol pumps are also closed at some places.
In Sher Shah and Mominabad, traders set up barriers on the roads and set fire to tires and recorded massive protests.
