Jamaat-e-Islami launches ‘Government Removal Movement’ – Pakistan

Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman says that there is a shutter-down strike across the country, the next call will be given in the next few days, if all roads are closed, the government removal movement can start.

Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman while talking to the media said that this is not only a strike of Jamaat-e-Islami but of the whole of Pakistan, the people cannot bear the burden of the big vehicles of the rulers.

Hafiz Naeem said that landlords should be taxed, traders are ready to pay taxes, but they do not approve of determining taxes on the basis of markets.

Traders are also protesting in Lahore, business centers and shopping centers are closed while shops in Urdu Bazaar, Shah Alam Market, Rang Mahal, Akbari Market are locked.

The shopkeepers say that the protest will continue until the government does not accept the demands.
