Asuncion, IP Agency.- The National Directorate of Transport (Dinatran) is organizing a training course on the transport and handling of dangerous products. It will take place from Wednesday, August 28th to Friday, August 30th, at the sub-headquarters of the San Pedro Governorate, in the city of San Estanislao (Santaní).
This opportunity aims to train transport drivers and ensure safety. The cost is Gs. 468,144 and will be in person. Those who want to register must present a copy of their driver’s license, blood typing document and a copy of their identity card. Upon completion of the training, a license enabling them to transport dangerous goods will be issued.
To register, go to the Dinatran website, www.dinatran.gov.py, and then to the dangerous cargo option. You can also register at the Central Office of the National Transportation Directorate, San Lorenzo. Once you have filled out the fields, go to the nearest Pronet payment point (Payment Here) or to the entity’s counter.
The objective of this course is to assist companies and their employees in the correct handling and transportation of dangerous goods, according to the needs of each productive sector.
This activity includes topics such as classification of dangerous goods (such as fuels, fertilizers, chemicals, coal, among others), defensive driving, fire prevention, first aid, and legislation (Orange Book of the United Nations, Mercosur Agreements, Decree 17,723/1997, Res. of the Dinatran Council No. 1,218/22).
