SINGER Feby Putri is back with a new single entitled Durasi. This song is a deep reminder for those who live away from home to always make time to return to their hometown.
Duration tells the touching story of a migrant who returns home and finds significant changes in his family, especially his mother.
Through poetic lyrics and touching melodies, Feby Putri successfully depicts the longing and regret often felt by those far from home.
“This song is inspired by my personal experience and many people around me who have migrated,” said Feby. “I want to remind you of the importance of family and moments with them. Don’t let us regret when time no longer allows us to meet.”
The song Durasi was created by Feby Putri herself, both in terms of notation and lyrics.
The production process was entrusted to Lafa Pratomo, with a collaborative touch from Kapal Udara.

One of the interesting things about this song is the lyrics in Makassar, “Punna tena kisipainga’ motere’ ri boritta” which means “When we don’t remind each other to go home to our village.”
These lyrics further enrich the meaning of the song and make it feel more personal.
Feby Putri hopes that Durasi can touch the hearts of listeners and inspire them to return to their hometowns more often.

Durasi is the second single from Feby Putri’s second album titled Hitam Putih. The album will be released in late September and will showcase Feby’s broader musical exploration.
