Wood: Hunsinger expands in northern Alsace – Les Echos

Save space, produce more and be even more energy efficient. This is the triple objective that the Alsatian specialist in the construction of timber-framed buildings Hunsinger has set itself by building a second production unit in Thal-Drulingen, in the Bas-Rhin, right next to its timber frame production hall.

It allowed him to move his carpentry business, which had previously been based in Weislingen, about fifteen kilometres from Thal-Drulingen. “Dilapidated” and “cramped”, according to its CEO, Harald Schork, the old site no longer allowed the pace to be kept up in good conditions. “This caused breakage and the staff had to tidy up all the time”, says the manager.
