The Ogooué Mining Company (COMILOG) launched a call for applications on Wednesday for its “One Taxi, One Job, One Future” project which it is developing in the Haut Ogooué province, its main operating area.
This project is an extension of the initiative of the President of the Transition, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, who is preparing to deliver 417 taxis to job seekers of Gabonese nationality.
COMILOG has already acquired 20 vehicles for this activity. The city of Moanda, the company’s stronghold, will receive 10 taxis, Bakoumba (2), Mounana (2) and Franceville (6).
To apply, you must hold the Brevet d’Études du Premier Cycle (BEPC) and hold a C and D permit dating back at least 3 years.
According to COMILOG, after four years of operation, the beneficiary called “service provider” will become the owner of the taxi and will be able to generate around three indirect jobs.
The company is developing the project in partnership with the Gabonese state through the National Employment Promotion Center (PNPE).

- To be eligible for the project, the candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Be of Gabonese nationality;
- Hold a CD license dating back at least 3 years;
- Be a resident of one of the following cities: Moanda, Franceville, Mounana and Bakoumba; Be between 21 and 60 years old;
- Hold at least a BEPC or an equivalent diploma
Composition of the file:
01 copy of the identity document;
01 Copy of the legalized birth certificate;
01 copy of driving license;
01 certified copy of the original of the diploma justifying the required level (from BEPC or equivalent);
01 criminal record extract dated less than three months.
Registrations are open from August 21 to September 5, 2024 from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the following locations:
Moanda City Hall;
PNPE premises in Franceville;
Mounana Town Hall;
Bakoumba City Hall.
