Speaking during Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day celebrations in Dubai, Pakistan’s Consul General for Dubai and Northern Emirates Hussain Muhammad urged all the 1.7 million Pakistanis living in the Emirates to obey and respect local laws. .

He emphasized that laws are strictly enforced in the UAE and violators will face fines and jail terms for violations.
