The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed another reference against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi.
NAB investigation officer Mohsin Haroon and case officer Waqarul Hasan filed in the accountability court while the new Tosha Khana reference filed by NAB consists of 2 volumes.
The founder PTI and Bushra Bibi were arrested by NAB on July 13, the founder PTI and Bushra Bibi remained in the custody of NAB for a total of 37 days for the purpose of investigation.
During the investigation, Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were also provided with a questionnaire by NAB, both the accused submitted the answers to the questionnaire to NAB.
New Tosha Khana Reference: Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi sent to jail on judicial remand
Yesterday, after the investigation was completed, the former prime minister and his wife were sent to jail on judicial remand.
The registrar of the accountability court will review the Toshakhana reference filed by NAB, after removing the objections, the reference will be sent to the administrative judge of the accountability court.
The list of witnesses in the new Tosha Khana reference against Imran Khan has come out
On the other hand, the list of witnesses in the new Tosha Khana reference against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder chairman Imran Khan has come out, which includes the names of 22 witnesses.
According to the sources, the name of Binyamin Section Officer Toshah Khana Cabinet Division is on the top list among the witnesses, while Protocol Officer Prime Minister’s House Talat Mahmood, Additional Director NAB Qaiser Mahmood are among the witnesses.
Foreign Ministry Assistant Director Muhammad Faheem, former Military Secretary Brigadier Muhammad Ahmed and former Prime Minister’s Personal Secretary Inamullah Shah are also among the witnesses of the new Toshah Khana reference.
Sources said that Director NAB Shafqat Mehmood and investigating officer of the case Mohammad Mohsin Haroon are also included in the list of witnesses.
