Fast bowler Hasan Ali is ready to return to action after completing rehab after a back injury.

Fast bowler Hasan Ali played the last international match for Pakistan against India in the ICC Cricket World Cup held in England last year, after which Hasan Ali first suffered from back pain and then fractured ribs.

When he returned to PSL, he suffered back pain. PCB arranged Hasan Ali’s rehab program to get rid of back pain.

Fast bowler Hasan Ali has said that his rehab is complete and now his focus is to play domestic cricket and gain match fitness.

Hasan Ali said that I have been away from international cricket for 15 months, it was a difficult time, I also had to undergo rehab, during which the corona virus came, due to which I stayed at home for four months.

He says that sometimes I was disappointed but I continued to work hard and had in my mind that I have to get full fitness and come back to the team.

The fast bowler says, “During rehab, someone used to tell me about surgery and someone told me that I would be fine without surgery. I used to get scared after hearing about surgery, but I worked hard and now I am fit.”

Hasan Ali said that my focus is on domestic cricket, I have to get match fitness by playing domestic cricket, I think I have to show fitness as well as performance to return to the team.

Hasan Ali’s style of celebration is famous all over the world and in this regard he says that Hasan Ali’s trademark style will not change.

The fast bowler of the national team says that fitness has nothing to do with the style of cheering, I have worked hard to strengthen the style of cheering, it inspires and uplifts me and the team.

Fast bowler Hasan Ali is aware of the increasing competition in the field of fast bowling and in this regard he says that it will be difficult to come back but I have given performances in the past, I can make a place in the team. Juniors competing with seniors is a good thing.

“Whenever I get a chance, I will take advantage of it and get back to my place in the team,” he said.

Hasan Ali is appreciative of the young bowlers and says that the manner in which Shaheen Afridi is progressing and carrying the team with him is evident to all.

He said Musa Khan is a good bowler, can come back again, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah have also impressed, youngster Naseem Shah is bowling very fast, it is great to see him bowling.

Hasan Ali said that the presence of Pakistan team’s bowling coach Waqar Younis in the High Performance Center was beneficial, the legendary fast bowler told me the tricks and techniques of bowling and also encouraged me that injuries happen to bowlers, courage. Don’t give up, keep working hard, be disciplined and focus on fitness.

He said that National High Performance Center bowling coach Muhammad Zahid also helped in the bowling sessions during the rehab.

Hasan Ali thanked PCB for taking care and said that I was upset when I was not included in the contract but I was taken care of during the rehab and all the expenses were borne and at the National High Performance Center. Arrangements were made for my full rehab.
