After weeks of high temperatures, the heat alert is over. Already today, according to the bulletin from the Ministry of Health, after days of unbearable heat, the cities with a red dot, which indicates a heat wave with emergency conditions, are just four: Bari, Brescia, Campobasso and Palermo. Nineteen are in yellow, pre-alert level: these are Ancona, Bologna, Bolzano, Catania, Florence, Frosinone, Latina, Messina, Milan, Naples, Perugia, Pescara, Reggio Calabria, Rieti, Rome, Turin, Trieste, Venice and Verona.
Four, however, have become green, the so-called level 0 which represents weather conditions that do not pose a risk to the health of the population: Cagliari, Civitavecchia, Genoa and Viterbo. Tomorrow, Sunday 18 August, the lucky ones in green will rise to 19: in addition to Cagliari, Civitavecchia, Genoa, Viterbo there will also be Ancona, Bologna, Bolzano, Florence, Frosinone, Latina, Milan, Naples, Perugia, Rieti, Rome, Turin, Trieste, Venice and Verona. Also tomorrow, 7 cities will be in yellow: we are talking about Brescia, Campobasso, Catania, Messina, Palermo, Pescara and Reggio Calabria. The only one, tomorrow, that will still have to endure the red-marked heat will be Bari.
