The 2024 Paralympic Games will be held in Paris, France, from August 28 to September 8. The sporting event will take place over 11 days and will bring together 4,400 Paralympic athletes, who will participate in 22 sports disciplines.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) noted on its website that unlike the Tokyo Paralympics which took place over 12 days, this year’s event will take place over 11 days. However, they promise a “denser programme of exciting events.”
The IOC announced that there will be 18 venues for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. The competitions will begin on August 29, as the opening ceremony will take place on August 28.
Which countries have won the most medals at the Paralympic Games?
Among the countries with the most medals in the history of these games are the following:
-United States: 2,066
-Great Britain: 1,642
-Australia: 1.046
-Canada: 1,028
-France: 1,010
-China: 783
-Germany: 664
The Venezuelan delegation will participate in nine disciplines and is made up of 25 Paralympic athletes, of which 17 are women and 8 are men.

According to the IOC website, in Venezuela the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games will only be available to watch on the Claro Sports app, website and YouTube channel.
Likewise, TVES, channel 2, will also broadcast this sporting event in Venezuela.

According to the Venezuelan Paralympic Committee, the standard-bearers of this opportunity are thePara-athletes Luis Felipe Rodriguez and Lisbeli Vera.
The disciplines in which they qualified are: wheelchair parafencing, paratriathlon, parataekwondo, paratable tennis, parapower, paracycling, parajudo, paraswimming and paraathletics.
