The title of the second season of the TV anime “Blue Lock”, which will start broadcasting on the TV Asahi nationwide network “IMAnimation” slot every Saturday from 11:30 pm on Saturday, October 5, 2024, has been decided to be “Blue Lock VS. U-20 JAPAN”. The key visual has also been released.
The TV anime “Blue Lock” is based on the popular comic currently being serialized in Kodansha’s “Weekly Shonen Magazine”, which has sold over 40 million copies worldwide (as of August 2024), won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the Boys’ category, and is currently being serialized in Kodansha’s “Weekly Shonen Magazine”. The first season of the TV series was broadcast on TV Asahi from October 2022 to March 2023, and the first movie version, “Blue Lock: Episode Nagi”, will be released in April 2024. In addition, all 14 episodes will start airing on TV Asahi’s nationwide “IMAnimation” slot every Saturday from 11:30 p.m. starting October 5, 2024. The 14 episodes will depict the match between “Blue Lock” and U-20 JAPAN, which is being held to decide the survival of the “Blue Lock” project.

Additionally, Prime Video will be streaming the unlimited viewing version of “Blue Lock: Episode Nagi” from midnight on Sunday, September 1st.
