Due to the arrival in Seville of the 5th stage of La Vuelta, on August 21, from 3:00 p.m. until the end of the race, there will be restrictions on vehicle traffic and access to parking lots on the following roads:

Lipasam

The Seville City Council, through the municipal cleaning company Lipasam, will participate in stage 5 of La Vuelta a España, which will pass through Seville on 21 August, with a special team made up of 103 workers and 64 vehicles. Services will be reinforced to maintain cleanliness during the event and the waste generated will be collected selectively for later recycling, always thanks to citizen collaboration.

In order to achieve greater responsibility with regard to cleanliness, and to make this an added value of this race, Lipasam will place containers for different waste types. The aim is to encourage selective waste collection, both on the race route and in the parallel activities that take place in the city.

The municipal cleaning company will provide a special cleaning service during the days prior to the event, carrying out clearing work, removing signs, sweeping and washing. In addition, on the day of stage 5, in the morning and afternoon, the entire race route will be cleaned, with special attention to the area adjacent to the finish line. After the end of this stage, a general cleaning will be carried out, applying sweeping and washing with pressurized water.

As is the case with similar events, the operation will be completed early the following day with cleaning tasks on the streets in the area of ​​influence.

Lipasam is always present at all the major events or gatherings that take place in the city, and which generate significant amounts of waste.

The municipal cleaning company of Seville has a special team for all sporting events and celebrations that take place in the city of Seville. This service is reinforced with regularly scheduled cleanings. In this way, the rest of the city can be attended to without suffering the consequences of the celebration of the sporting event.
