October 2024 Let’s go see steam locomotives overseas Part 2: British American style railways – Railway enthusiasts

This is the second installment of Inoue Koichi’s new series “Let’s go see steam locomotives overseas,” in which he introduces steam locomotives from overseas under the theme of “Steam locomotive scenes that can still be seen today.” This time, he introduces the Brecon Mountain Railway, a British railway line where American-style locomotives are in operation. There are many photos that make you wonder if they are really British, such as a Baldwin tender locomotive pulling a caboose. We hope you enjoy this unique railway.
