4th Twenty20: New Zealand beat Pakistan by seven wickets

New Zealand in the 4th T20 match to be played in Christchurch on Friday Pakistan Ko defeated by seven wickets.

The New Zealand captain won the toss and elected to field first, after which Pakistan started batting and set New Zealand a target of 159 runs, which the Kiwis achieved in 18.1 overs.

New Zealanders Daryl Mitchell scored 72 and Glenn Phillips remained unbeaten with 70 runs.

This was the first time during this series, when the Pakistani team batted first but the result was not much different from the previous three matches and the Pakistani batsmen continued their poor performance.

Saeem Ayub, who opened the innings with Mohammad Rizwan, was dismissed for just one run.

Former captain Babar Azam continued to show good performance in the last three matches, but today he could not be called upon and he returned to the pavilion on 19 runs.

Apart from Mohammad Rizwan, no Pakistani batsman could stay on the wicket. Mohammad Rizwan played an innings of 90 runs off 63 balls and played a key role in bringing the national team to a score of 159. Five Pakistan players were out.

Mohammad Nawaz played fast in the last overs and hit Adam Milne for three sixes in one over, but still the Pakistani team failed to give New Zealand a big target.

New Zealand bowled well from Matt Henry and Lockie Ferguson, dismissing two players each.

In this series of five matches, Pakistan has already been defeated by three zeroes and now the Pakistani team is facing more difficulties due to the defeat in the fourth match as well.
