BMW M GmbH is expanding its product range in the performance vehicle segment and continues to advance the electrification of its model range. New BMW M5 Touring (weighted combined fuel consumption: 2.0 l/100 km and 30.7 kWh/100 km; weighted combined CO2 emissions: 46 g/km; fuel consumption after battery discharge: 10.9 l/100 km according to WLTP; CO2 class : Weight combination B with depleted battery G) combines outstanding dynamics on and off the track with variable space for everyday life, leisure and travel. This is currently the third BMW M car to be equipped with the M Hybrid drive system, in which the high-revving V8 engine is supported by an electric motor with extremely spontaneous power development. Together, the two engines produce a maximum output of 535 kW/727 hp and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm.
