For several days, the Dillon stadium has been buzzing with the rhythm of “Mwaka Boss.” Some are counting down the remaining hours while others are still preparing their outfits. The main goal is clear: to participate in this grand celebration envisioned for this much-anticipated day. Over 23,400 people experienced this celebration at the Pierre Aliker stadium.

The teams and the production kicked off the day with a DJ show featuring Estelle, Irie Crew, and Andy 4000, all eager to fire up the crowd. By 4 PM, the performance began, spotlighting a mix of stage presence and pyrotechnics.
No area of the stadium was left bare, filled with lights and speakers positioned for an almost perfect sound balance. A three-hour concert unfolded at full throttle, a start to “light the fire,” as one might say. The artist aimed to unite and celebrate Caribbean music alongside artists who were present to deliver a memorable show to the audience.
We did everything for you. We’re here to enjoy and share this moment. Mada, thank you!

Several singers and celebrities made the trip. The lineup included: Lieutenant, Satori, Gifta, Kima, Thierry Henry, Maureen, Saël, Pleen Pyroman, Mc Janik, Mc Miguel, Lord Kossity, and Jocelyne Béroard. Each personality was integrated into the concert beyond their mere presence. Each participation was a meticulously crafted visual tableau shown on screens.
“You see the old-timers, the ‘Foundations’ of Martinique. We must thank you and show you respect!” Kalash expressed while speaking to his peers.

A show demonstrating real mastery in production, just as the team had hoped. The press attaché for Kalash shared his satisfaction with the event’s success alongside local partners and providers.
We are very satisfied with the ticketing system, the shuttles, and the buses that were completely free for ticket holders. The mobilization of rescue teams, agents, and civil services was excellent. We also ensured the event flowed smoothly, making it a point for both the sound and visual aspects to be enjoyable and accessible for everyone. You know, what happened today is not common, even in the events I work on in mainland France. It was legendary, starting with the tickets selling out in moments and the determination of Kalash and the team to share the same vision for the production. And the result speaks for itself.
With his orchestra and DJ Killerz, Kalash fostered a true communion with his audience through songs like Free Me, Doliprane, Mama, Tombolo, and Lélé, which moved him to tears as he shared the joy with the crowd. It was a genuine family celebration, with loved ones joining him on stage.
We found spectators completely enchanted, having traveled from afar. We spoke with Anthony, who shared how much this concert was eagerly awaited.
You know, there are very few artists who evoke such emotions, especially in these times. It’s great to have someone who highlights Martinique, but more importantly, an artist who tries to contribute to Martinican culture in his own way. I believe that even Michael Jackson never did what Kalash accomplished today.

It was also an opportunity to share and awaken collective awareness while alerting and entertaining:
Mada, those who have love in their hearts: shout LOVE! Let’s take care of each other. You never know what problems others face; everyone here is fighting their own personal demons. Let’s be mindful of one another to better coexist.
Kalash shared before singing “Tombolo.”
A successful bet for the organizers and the artist, who had already made history by selling out all tickets in less than thirty minutes. As the first notes played, the entire stadium resonated with “Mada,” and the closing pyro techniques wrapped up this grand ceremony.
Today, it can be easily said that Kalash and his team have etched themselves into the history of concerts in Martinique and that of the thousands present this Wednesday. Time seemed to stand still at the stadium. The memories of this showcase by a true artist are engraved in the minds of attendees. The stadium shook with applause and an ecstatic crowd.
Since the end of the show, social media has been buzzing, serving as the last screen reflecting that the promise made between Kalash and his fans was more than fulfilled. “Kalash, truly the new president,” or “Kalash, thank you for proving it’s possible to respect your audience while ensuring top-notch organization!” and “Some events and festivals should take notes from what Kalash and his team delivered.”
On the part of the elected officials, there’s a consensus that the event went perfectly, without incidents, and above all, in a natural atmosphere that calls for a repeat in the future.
Serge Letchimy, the president of the Executive Council of the Territorial Collectivity of Martinique, expressed his thoughts on social media.
There were no disruptions or violence, just a positive energy, a collective force that illuminated the night.
