MASTER SCALE
László Dajka: – Vasas had more possession of the ball, we expected that, while our plan was to defend massively and try to counter from there. The first half belonged to Vasa, after the break the game was even, and both teams wanted to decide the match – we could have even scored the winning goal, but it didn’t work out. The team did a lot to keep at least one point at home, but unfortunately it was not possible.
Zoltán Gera: – We expected a difficult match, and it was confirmed. Budafok is a well-organized team, it was difficult to break through their defense, but we played well at times. We dominated the first half, after the break the home team got the better of us for a period, but our substitutions worked well, and that was the result. We deserved the three points.

SUMMARY

Budafok and Vasas scored 4 points each in the first two rounds. Vasas had reason to pay against Budafok, who were playing at home, since the Angyalfölds could not score in their rival’s goal in their last four matches against each other.

Auerbach had to make the first save in the 9th minute after a shot by Milán Tóth, and three minutes later Jova was also “at work”, saving Vasas goalkeeper Nándori’s attempt. In the 26th minute, Auerbach almost gave the visitors a goal, but luckily Urblík couldn’t find the goal after a big mistake. Approaching the goal, Merényi was able to drive the ball to the Vasas goal alone, he broke into the 16-yard box, but Ilyinbor made a great cross and set up so well that the ball belonged to the Angels of Hungary. The biggest opportunity of the half was missed in the 42nd minute, after Radó’s free kick inside the 16-yard box, Auerbach made a great save after Urblík’s shot and then Ilyinbor’s shot.

In the second half, there were very few chances for the teams. Last season’s co-scorer, Milán Tóth, was only a shadow of his former self this time, as indicated by the fact that Zoltán Gera replaced him in the 70th minute. Neither side had much chance in the first half, but Vasas pressed in the last minutes, which got the result. In the 88th minute, Urblík burst into the goal, and Auerbach, who came on as a substitute, hit his shot Philip Pinter he hit in front of him, who shot into the goal from seven meters, deciding the match. 0–1
