21-year-old striker Rosa Kafaji has been a great success in Häcken. Now it is clear that the talent is moving to Arsenal.
– I am so happy to be here. I am hungry to continue developing and I know this is the right place for me to compete for the biggest titles, says Kafaji, who signed a four-year contract according to SVT Sports.
In the London club, the striker will be trained by Swedish Jonas Eidevall and she will also be a teammate with Stina Blackstenius, Amanda Ilestedt and Lina Hurtig.
– We are very pleased to be able to bring Rosa to the club. She is one of the most exciting young talents in the world and I have been delighted with her way of playing for several years, says Eidevall.
In the past season, Arsenal finished in third place in the league.
In Häcken, Kafaji played a key role as the team advanced all the way to the Champions League quarter-finals (loss against Paris Saint-Germain).
