Professor Matt Barrett of James Cook University says the discovery shows that it is present in Australia, among other countries, which shows its size and importance. It should be noted that this is the only mushroom in the world, if touched, its poison can be embedded in the body, after which the condition of the patient becomes miserable. On the other hand, in the case of food, the body becomes sick with vomiting, cholera (diarrhea) and fever; And death can happen.

The poison fire coral fungus was photographed by Ray Palmer who has been photographing fungi and mushrooms for many years. According to him, he was surprised to see firecoral poison fungus and immediately took a picture of it.
