“Our commitment to help Ukraine remains unwavering. When forming our support packages, we respond to the most important needs and priorities of Ukraine. By providing ammunition, remote detonation systems and equipment needed for harsh winter conditions, we are tangibly strengthening Ukraine’s resistance against Russian aggression,” says Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anušauskas.
According to the report, the new package of Lithuanian military support was delivered by the Lithuanian army and presented to the Ukrainian army on Wednesday.
A little more than a week ago, the Ministry of National Defense bought NASAMS missile launch systems with the necessary equipment, and last week – electricity generators.
According to the ministry, in addition to military equipment and equipment, Lithuania constantly trains Ukrainian soldiers, provides treatment and rehabilitation to wounded Ukrainians, organizes expert consultations, and allocates funds to international funds for support of Ukraine.
The report states that the total value of Lithuania’s military support to Ukraine amounts to about half a billion euros.
