The president of the National Chamber of Mechanical Workshops (Canatame), Gino Fileri He spoke on Monday about non-original spare parts in the country.
During an interview with Unión Radio, Fileri said that in terms of access to good quality or original spare parts, he said that “it has improved a lot.”
Stressing that this is due to the creation of a “security ring” called “door to door”.
“It has caused non-original spare parts, which are not generic but are being manufactured and sold by someone under another name, to go into free fall,” he said on Union Radio.
He also stressed that mechanical workshops in the country are undergoing rapid growth, renovation and training in the technological aspect.
He also stressed that there are several unknown brands that are making their way into the national market, such as Asian brands, and most of them offer after-sales service.
In addition, they have signed alliances with some brands for after-sales services in order to provide good customer service.

National Chamber of Mechanical Workshops prepares new technicians
He also stressed the need to have technicians trained to service the new vehicles in the country.
He stressed that “we lost a huge number of technicians due to migration and the Chamber has done a great job because we have been giving courses at a national level, which have been totally positive.”
He said that they are preparing for new technologies, so an international instructor will come to the country to give a course at the Chamber on electric vehicles.
