Theatre and music in Universos Mínimos – UNL

The National University of Litoral will host the fifth season of Universos Mínimos, a series of activities to celebrate Children’s Month. All performances and activities are accessible and open to the public. Admission is free and does not require prior registration.

On Saturday, August 24th at 3pm, you can enjoy Miniature Puppet Theater in the Hall of the Cultural Forum, by Lambe Santa Fe. The plays will be “La pulpería de Don Horacio” by Nacha Soto and “Paula” by María Cecilia Piccioni. The lambe-lambe boxes are miniature puppet theaters that invite you to appreciate them one person at a time. Each show takes us to immerse ourselves in images and sounds that tell stories.

That same Saturday, also at 3 p.m., the UNL Children’s and Adolescents’ Choir will perform in the Saer Hall, with the participation of “Ala Par Duo” and directed by María Soledad Gauna. Paola Tourn is the vocal coach. During the presentation, a repertoire of Argentine folk music and native roots will be offered, such as vidalas, huaynos, coplas and Guaraní songs, while Ala Par Duo will perform songs from the Latin American repertoire. To close, arrangements for choir and duo made especially for this occasion by Rodrigo Martínez Castro, a member of the duo, will be premiered.
