According to the Meteorological Department, Monsoon winds from the West, Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal will affect the country, resulting in heavy rains in Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, besides Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. There is a possibility of heavy rain at some places.
According to the Department of Meteorology, there is a possibility of light rain in the coastal areas of Sindh during the evening or night of August 15 to August 18.
Punjab
The Punjab Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued an alert for more monsoon rains in Punjab.
The PDMA spokesperson says that the new spell of more monsoon rains will start from the evening of August 14 across Punjab.

PDMA says that there are chances of wind and rain in south Punjab from August 15 to 18, rains are also expected in plain districts of Punjab and Potohar.
Rains are expected in Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, besides Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Sahiwal and Gujarat divisions.
DG PDMA Irfan Kathia says that an alert has been issued to the concerned administration on the weather situation, the situation is being monitored 24 hours in the control room.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
According to the Department of Meteorology, a new series of monsoon rains is likely to start in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from tomorrow, torrential rain is expected from tomorrow, August 14 to August 16, and this series of rains will continue intermittently until August 18.
Balochistan
According to the Department of Meteorology, monsoon rains have stopped in all areas of Balochistan, the new spell of rains will enter the province from August 15 and this spell of rain will continue till August 18.
According to the alert issued by PDMA, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Khuzdar, Kalat, Sorab, Awaran, Mastung, Nasirabad, Jafarabad Sahabpur, Jhal Magsi, Kachhi, Sibi, Panjgur Barkhan, Loralai, Harnai and Zhob from August 15. While it will rain in the coastal areas of Ziarat, Shirani and Makran.

According to the Meteorological Department, 6.6 mm of rain was recorded in Barkhan and Kalat during the last 24 hours.
Also, on Monday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 38 degrees Celsius in Quetta and Turbat, 34 degrees Celsius in Kalat, 27 degrees Celsius in Zhob and 25 degrees Celsius in Ziarat.
Apart from this, the temperature was recorded at 45 in Sibi, 46 in Nokundi, 34 in Gwadar and 33 in Jeoni.
